Congress whip: All ministers must defend govt on price rise
A united Opposition has its guns trained firmly on the UPA government over the price rise issue and the Congress is taking no chances.
The ruling party has issued a whip to all its ministers, and requested those of its allies, to be present in Parliament for the debate today. Meanwhile, the Rajya Sabha has been adjourned till noon after uproar over price rise. The ministers have been told to vigorously defend the government during the debate, which is expected to be fiery and acrimonious.
