Delhi High Court make squashes of the order appealed by Army Chief
The Delhi High Court repealed an order by the Army Chief discharging more than 26,000 Army personnel below officer rank and Junior Commissioned Officers on the grounds of their being of “low medical category”.

The special court, will pronounce final judgment on November 21 of the serial blasts at churches in Karnataka in June-July 2000.

Karnataka High Court adjoins Sakrama case
The Karnataka High court granted four weeks to the State Government when Advocate-General Uday Holla said a Cabinet subcommittee was looking into the scheme. Mr. Holla made this submission when several Public Interest Litigation (PIL) petitions challenging the Sakrama scheme came up for hearing.
