THIS SPECIAL POWER OF ATTORNEY executed at _____on ________

referred to as 'EXECUTANT'
To and in favour of
_____ S/o, W/o, D/o. __________, hereinafter referred
to as the 'ATTORNEY'
Whereas:
The EXECUTANT is carrying on the business of ______________________;
and in the minutes of the meeting of partners of the EXCUTANT
it was decided to appoint a consultant in the field of
sales tax law and customs law for the purpose of payment
of sales tax and customs duties and for all matters incidental
and ancillary thereto; and
The EXECUTANT is desirous of appointing the ATTORNEY to
carry out the various acts, deeds and things mentioned
hereunder.
The agent has accepted to act on behalf of the EXECUTANT.
NOW THIS DEED WITNESSETH AS FOLLOWS:
The EXECUTANT does hereby nominate, constitute and appoint
the ATTORNEY to be the true and lawful attorney of the
EXECUTANT to do all or any of the acts, deeds and things
mentioned hereunder. To sign, endorse, and transfer
any bill of lading, dock warrants policies of marine
insurance, shipping orders, delivery orders, receipts
and all other books, papers or documents which may be
required to be signed in connection with the loading
and unloading and general handling of the goods imported/exported
by the EXECUTANT.
To pay customs duty, sign all documents, endorse bills
of lading and bills of entry, manifests, charter parties
and other shipping documents, railway receipts, for
merchandise consigned.
To apply for Registration under the Local and Central
Sales Tax Acts, with the
Assessing authority concerned.
To receive notices, communications and orders from
the Central and Local Sales Tax departments concerned
and act in pursuance thereof, including issue of suitable
replies and to initiate suitable proceedings for and
on behalf of the principal.
And to do all such acts, deeds and things, which the
said Attorney thinks is necessary for the purpose of
effectively implementing the aforesaid powers herein
granted.
